Autumn quarter is over, and winter break is here! Faculty often use this time to do research and work on course prep. You can keep in touch with the department via our Discord Server during winter break!

We also wanted to remind you that DePaul’s Career Center resources are available for students and alumni, and they have a lot of good tools and information. You can check out multiple virtual Career Fairs, they do review of resumes and cover letters through email, and they have a great page of resources for getting a job during COVID-19, including a list of companies hiring right now.
It’s good to keep an updated Resume or Curriculum Vitae, even if you aren’t planning on applying to jobs or professional schools anytime soon because a current resume or CV helps us faculty write letters of recommendation for students when they apply for scholarships, programs, or internships.
Speaking of scholarships, there are some potential scholarships shared on our Discord server, and we try to post links there if we come across scholarships that our students might be able to apply to.
