Dear Chemistry and Biochemistry students, alumni, friends, and family,
Tomorrow, Jan 31st, is the Blue Demon Challenge, the day DePaul uses to focus on giving and raising awareness of what we do!
Even if you can’t give much, small donations carry a lot of weight! If you give to any CSH fund, there are challenges that unlock a lot of money after a certain number of people give to any CSH fund, no matter how much or little they give! The info on these challenges is here
Dr. Grice has pledged to give 10$ more (up to 100$ more) than he was planning to give for each student, alumni, or friend who emails him tomorrow that they have donated to any fund in the college of science and health (no need to say how much given or to what fund, just email him to say you did it!). His email is kgrice1@depaul.edu.
So, how can you support the Chemistry and Biochemistry department directly? There are a lot of funds/scholarships to give to in CSH, but if you go to the CSH page here, and click the “View All Giving Opportunities” button, you can search for “Chemistry”. Several of the scholarships related to our department pop up, as well as “Fund for Chemistry”, which goes to support our department in everything we do for our students. The “Fund for Chemistry” is a good place to donate to support CHE!
Check out DePaul’s social media accounts tomorrow to see what happens with the Blue Demon Challenge!
